Smart internet development
We write code that is tough enough to absorb any bumps along the way, hence Offroad Code.
We make websites work.
So how are we any different? We really understand the technology of the internet. We've spent years learning about it, using it and developing. Allowing our clients to leverage that knowledge to get the answers to their problems.
We are not just another website producer rolling out cookie cutter sites day afer day. We like to take on sites that offer a challenge. If you have needs above the average then we can be your A-team.
We follow some simple rules of thumb with all our sites and programming:
- The site will do what you want it to do in a way you would expect.
- We will ask questions of you that you might not have considered. Raising possible problems early so we can deal with them quickly.
- Allow you to use the technologies you are farmiliar with so you can control what your site displays. Thats not to say you can re-design the whole site, but the data that needs to be changed regularly can be.
- We believe in keeping you very much in the loop when we design anything but the most basic of projects. Constant feedback allows us to ensure that we are producing exactly what you want and allows us to adapt to changes in your market, competition or whim that much easier.
- No quick fixes. We don't use "gaffer tape" programming styles. We write code to last, to be easy to maintain and easy to expand on.
- Knowledge sharing. All our code is documented, has automated tests, has a Wiki and a feature tracking database so that no information gets lost.
